The Opportunity
The Communications Advisor – Social Media / Digital Media is responsible for the execution of ASC’s digital content strategy; production of social and digital media content; and day-to-day management of ASC’s social media channels.
In this role you will ‘own’ ASC’s social media strategy and manage the organisation’s busy content calendar. You will produce high-quality written, photographic and video content for distribution via ASC’s digital channels, including the ASC website, careers EDMs, Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram. You will have oversight of ASC’s paid digital advertising, including Google Ads and Facebook Ads. You will be responsible for monitoring, community management and moderation of ASC’s social media properties.
About You
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a social media / digital media management role
- Ability to produce high-quality, highly creative social media / digital media content independently and from ‘scratch’, including text, photography, video and infographics
- Proven experience managing a complex organisation’s social media / digital media, with a strong portfolio of example work
- Ability to plan and manage a detailed annual content calendar that meets organisational needs and expectations
- Detailed understanding of social media / digital media metrics, measurement and analytics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent customer service, community management and moderation skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
