They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and strategic HSE Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management systems across their organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive HSE policies and procedures;
- Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a proactive management environment;
- Conduct regular HSE audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify hazards;
- Integrate HSE processes into business operations and project planning;
- Manage HSE incident reporting and investigations;
- Drive metrics and reporting to track progress and performance;
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations;
- Design and implement learning solutions, including online and face-to-face training;
- Lead HSE initiatives to enhance safety capability and culture;
- Develop and implement the HSE framework, including policies, tools, and programs;
- Provide reports on compliance and HSE programs; and
- Travel interstate bi-monthly.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS;
- Extensive and proven HSE leadership experience;
- Experience with HSE management systems in line with ISO standards;
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Proficiency in HSE-related software and reporting tools;
- Expertise in change management programs;
- Proven problem-solving abilities;
- Strong project and program management skills;
- Effective vendor management skills; and
- Ability to travel bi-monthly interstate.
