You will be working alongside the team of 50 both onshore and offshore staff, varying from accountants, financial planners and support staff. As well as being responsible for overseeing the Trainee Accountant, reporting directly to the firm's Partners.
This firm is what you would describe as a boutique practice, where you’ll finally have the chance to “make your career what you want it to be”. You'll be expected to take complete ownership and run your own show within theirs.
This role is about building long term working relationships with clients, without the pressure of feeling like every minute needs to be billed.
In the first 3-6 months you won’t feel like a fish out of water, the team asks that you come in and immerse yourself within their workplace culture, work as a team and most importantly prioritise client and business service.
There is full flexibility within this role. They understand that everyone has a life outside of the 9-5, allowing you to work when you need to, as long as productivity is your priority. They are fully outcome and performance focused.
Ideally, you will have worked in Public Practice Accounting with either your CA or CPA, or an ambition to acquire these. As well as having the knowledge of cloud software such as Xero. But hey, if you're an accountant that hasn’t come across Xero yet we’d be a little concerned…
