The Role
An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced HSE professional to play a key role in driving continuous improvement in safety culture and performance.
Reporting to the CEO, the HSE Manager will oversee all aspects of health, safety and environment across all business units. Working in partnership with the Operational Leadership Team, this hands-on role will focus on providing leadership, expert technical advice and support to continuously improve safety performance.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Implement HSE Strategic Plans, facilitating compliance with legislation, customer requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain an effective HSE Management System to maintain guidance in policy and procedure, records management reporting and analysis of data relevant to the business improvement opportunities.
- Embed risk management within every process, conduct risk assessments, inspections and audits.
- Implement and maintain audit schedules and corrective actions registers in support of continuous improvement and compliance.
About You
Tertiary qualified with experience working in a large multi-site company preferably in a mining, manufacturing or heavy industry environment. An effective communicator with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and the ambition to achieve outstanding results, you will approach everything you do with energy, drive and a commitment to excellence. Additionally, you will be passionate about performance with an ability to collaborate, develop practical solutions and make a positive impact.
