HSE System and Compliance Officer

As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administration of the HSE function and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of health, safety, and environment data management and business reporting.

As the HSE Systemsand Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the following key duties:
 

• Day-to-Day Administrative Support: Provide efficient administrative support to the HSE team, ensuring smooth operations on a day-to-day basis.
• HSE Communications: Assist in the development and distribution of HSE communications to promote awareness and understanding across CS Energy.
• Coordination of Awareness Initiatives: Coordinate initiatives aimed at enhancing HSE awareness at CS Energy, fostering a culture of proactive safety and environmental management.
• Reporting and Data Management: Manage and generate accurate reports related to HSE metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ensuring timely reporting, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Quality System Administration and Governance: Support the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, ensuring adherence to established governance standards.
• Project Support: Assist in providing project support to the HSE function, contributing to the successful execution of initiatives.
• Management Systems Oversight: Contribute to the oversight of HSE management systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimisation.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity in our Brisbane office.

The successful candidate has the following qualifications and experience:

• Certificate IV in Business Administration or OHS (preferred).
• 1-3 years minimum experience in reporting and/or data management in one or more of these areas of responsibility.
• Previous experience in a HSE functional role  is desirable to ensure understanding of basic concepts.
• An understanding of Queensland and Commonwealth legislation relevant to HSE is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in efficient data capture and report compilation to provide information to management.
• Strong communication skills with advanced MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn new computer systems easily.
