About the Role
The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, employee training, incident investigation, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and quality excellence throughout the organisation.
Key Accountabilities
- Policy Development: Create and update HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimise hazards.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs for all employees.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into HSEQ incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse HSEQ performance metrics and report findings to management.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement in HSEQ practices across the organisation.
- Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular HSEQ audits and inspections to ensure adherence to policies and identify areas for improvement.
- Site Documentation: Assist in the development of documentation for site including SWMS, methodologies, and Safe Work Instructions.
- System Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up to date HSEQ documentation and prepare comprehensive reports for internal use.
