Your future with ATCO Structures & Logistics
You will be joining our team in Hope Valley reporting to the National HSEQ Manager and working alongside our National HSEQ team.  Supporting our manufacturing facility, Space Rentals and Permanent Modular Construction operations, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the ATCO operations teams in driving a safety culture.

What You Will Do
As the HSEQ Officer you will work with the National HSEQ team to support the whole organisation. The role is ideally suited to a trade qualified builder with Modular Manufacturing or Construction experience who is looking to move into a HSEQ focused role. The purpose of the role is to partner with the manufacturing team, the Supervisors and Managers to support and coach the workers through Health, Safety, Environment and Quality manufacturing process. 

More specifically, you will contribute to and be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the HSEQ requirements on the manufacturing facility floor
  • Advise and support employees in all aspects of HSEQ including conducting training, safety meetings, risk assessments, audits, inspections and maintenance of the Health and Safety program
  • Support, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and optimise ATCO Health and Safety policies, procedures and programs, as required within the team
  • Assisting Manufacturing teams to ensure all HSEQ activities are completed throughout planning, delivery and implementation
  • Assisting Supervisors in the training of employees in hazard and incident prevention along with ensuring the highest quality of manufacturing continues to be a focal point of ATCO
  • Act as the point of contact for facilities issues in Perth
  • Leverage cloud-based technology and partner with operational staff to continue the ATCO success story

What You Will Bring
We are looking for someone who shares our values and belief that agility, integrity, caring, collaboration and safety underpins all the work we do.

To hit the ground running, you will bring:

  • Cert IV WHS (minimum)
  • Current Driver’s Licence & Construction Induction (White Card) & First Aid Certificate
  • Cert IV Building & Construction & NSW Site Supervisors Licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in Building & Construction aligned to WH&S and risk management
  • Working knowledge of WHS responsibilities, obligations and applying HSEQ legislation, standards & codes of practice into the workplace
  • Knowledge of training & ISO frameworks
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft365 packages, including Sharepoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, supported by refined interpersonal skills
