Responsibilities Include
- Educating and implementing organisational policies and procedures
- Leading incident investigations and providing timely reporting on HSE metrics.
- Conducting inspections, audits, and delivering HSE training programs
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Promoting a positive safety culture
- Coach and train all levels of the organisation on HSET activities
- Assist with implementation of safety related systems and software packages.
- Review and development of project and task specific risk assessments
- Ensure safety and training records are maintained to a high level
- Monitor compliance through audits and inspections.
- Assist in managing worker’s compensation process
- Develop and deliver training packages.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and training standards.
- Support development and maintenance of HSE policies and procedure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Ability to accommodate regular travel.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (minimum TAE40116)
- Certification in workplace auditing (Preferred)
- Certification in incident investigation (ICAM preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar role including training and assessment of operating heavy mobile equipment
- Technical competencies in HS&E, legislative requirements, and change management.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in HSE
- Strong understanding of legislative requirements
- Proven ability to drive cultural change.
