About the Role
Reporting to the HSSE Management Systems Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing expertise as a Workplace Health and Safety documentation specialist, developing, revising, and reviewing all documentation within HSSE.
As our new HSSE Systems Specialist you will be responsible for the following key deliverables:
- Implementation of a strategic approach to consolidate HSSE documentation for improved clarity and overall system harmonisation.
- Improving the overall quality and impact of existing documentation contained within the HSSE Management, including creation of new documentation where applicable.
- Evaluating current HSSE documents to ensure alignment to current Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Environmental legislation.
- Document control including management of the SharePoint site.
- Supporting the HSSEMS Leader by assisting with the governance and leadership of EnergyAustralia’s 2025 HSSE Strategy.
About You
You will bring the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant HSE Management Systems work experience
- Certificate IV or above in Occupational Health and Safety is highly desirable
- Proficiency in use of SharePoint.
- Ability to effectively engage with employees and leadership.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
