We are seeking a driven, focused and organised individual to join the Human Resources function based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the on-boarding of new employees and coordinates documentation and communication
- Accountable for the accurate documentation of monthly organisational chart changes including current headcount and role numbers
- Accountable for facilitation of employee off-boarding processes and communication to relevant stakeholders involved in the off-boarding process
- Responsible for facilitating employee performance management, assessment and grievance processes
- Provides policy advice and guidance on interpretation and application of policies to staff as required
- Coordinates projects and the implementation of HR strategy and initiatives
- Supports in the coordination of employee engagement programs which may include recognition, compensation and wellness
- Upholds the core values of the Company through committed and focused performance in all areas of the role and as a contributing member of the HR Function
- Must be flexible to travel and complete overnight stays
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years experience in a similar HR role
- Understands minimum wage laws, confidentiality policies, employee notification requirements, and other regulatory policies, laws and regulations
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
