Based in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Custom Denning is currently on a very exciting journey when it comes to pioneering the way for locally manufactured electric vehicles in Australia. We are currently working very closely with the NSW government to support government infrastructure plans of transitioning NSW buses from diesel to an electric fleet by 2035.The Opportunity: Reporting to the Managing Director, this is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced HRBP or Advisor looking for their next challenge. This role will have one direct report and will be the primary contact for all IR and people and culture queries at Custom Denning.About You:You will have a least 7 years' experience within either a HR Advisor, Consultant or HRBP role. You will have worked within a manufacturing or blue-collar environment and have a strong grasp of industrial relations and employment law. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to quickly build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be highly adaptable and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership:Partner closely with business leaders to understand their objectives, challenges, and talent needs. Provide strategic HR guidance and support to drive business success.Talent Acquisition: Oversee a Recruitment/HR Coordinator in leading recruitment efforts to attract top talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce. Develop innovative strategies to source candidates for critical roles within the organisation.Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters.Talent Development: Design and implement talent development programs to foster a culture of continuous learning and career growth. Identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans to support future leadership needs.HR Operations: Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
