Who are we looking for? Reporting into the Regional People Leader – Tasmania and supporting the broader Tasmanian business across three offices, this is your opportunity to be a strategic partner and confidant to all employees in the region. This is a part time opportunity, ideally working 3 days per week. You will be available to commence early August in time for a detailed handover before our colleague commences 12 MonthsParental Leave Cover.
If you are experienced, passionate and a collaborative HR professional, we are keen to discuss this role with you. There’s scope to be involved in national, key initiatives whilst working directly with your dedicated client groups. You will champion best practice people management and provide people services to complement operational needs and requirements. This diverse role will give you an opportunity to showcase your wide array HR skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the business by planning, resourcing and executing People plans and working through solutions to result in successful business outcomes.
- Develop strong relationships with internal partners.
- Support Leaders to address and mediate issues and respond to individual staff queries.
- Facilitate talent management to align our people capability with business needs.
- Work with leaders to collaboratively develop actions to build a high-performance culture and increase staff wellbeing and engagement.
- Develop, report and analyse HR metrics and support understanding and interpretation of reports/ data/ metrics.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications – in HR, Psychology or Business paired with HR experience preferably in a professional services environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective delivery of people advice and strong Business Partner orientation.
- Proven ability to exercise discretion and subtlety dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
- Presentation and project management skills.
