The Opportunity
Due to the expansion of services, our client is offering the opportunity for a passionate, experienced, and skilled HR Business Partner to join its well-established and supportive People & Culture team on a full-time permanent basis. This role will serve as one of the primary representative of People & Culture for the service groups within the portfolio.
Reporting to the Executive Manager of People and Culture, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for;
- Leading workforce planning and development of a people plan of strategic / proactive people solutions.
- Providing industrial relations (IR) advice, including the interpretation of legislation, awards, policies and their application.
- Coaching Managers in providing feedback and resolving workplace issues, and managing escalated employee relations matters such as performance improvement plans, grievances and misconduct investigations.
- Champion People & Culture initiatives in your portfolio, including performance reviews and goals setting, culture and engagement plans, leadership development and any other initiatives as required.
About You
For this appointment we are seeking an established Human Resources professional with demonstrated capabilities in problem-solving, HR policy development, and analytical skills. Additionally, the successful candidate will have;
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist role or extensive experience managing diverse duties.
- Proven expertise in understanding business requirements and providing HR partnering solutions, coaching, advice, and support.
- Understanding of HR methodologies and legislation impacting these, e.g., Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, WHS, EEO, various Discrimination Acts.
- While previous ER/IR management is not essential, it is desirable.
