HVAC Estimator

GPAC Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is a progressive HVAC contractor based in Kogarah with projects predominately based in the CBD. Due to expansion and growth, we are looking for an Estimator.

Projects are mainly commercial fit-out/refurb, up to around $3m in value.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assessing tenders to determine project scope and size, sourcing additional information as needed
• Reviewing tender and contract information
• Develop accurate SOW and BOQ’s
• Perform trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists and liaise with subcontractors to ensure they have full understanding of the require scope of works and programme
• Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Building sound client and supplier relationships
• Business development and identify new tender opportunities.

To be consider successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum of 3 years HVAC commercial fit-out estimating experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using project management tools and experience using SimPRO is desirable
• Tertiary qualification in related discipline or relevant experience
