The Role
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a HVAC Projects Service Technician to join our growing team, operating throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle and Regional NSW. Duties will involve:
- The maintaining of various HVAC plant and equipment
- Reactive service works
- Assisting the projects team where required on installation and fit out works
- The ability to be apart of a rotating on-call roster
Essential to this role is a good mechanical and/or electrical understanding and exemplary communication skills. Qualified technicians in the electrical and refrigeration fields are most welcome to apply.
Key Competencies
- A strong knowledge of building mechanical services
- Knowledge of built-up central plant and chilled water systems
- Diagnose and rectify electrical or control faults in HVAC systems
- Routine building maintenance
- Coordination and supervision of trades on site
- Understanding and willingness to learn Building Management Systems
- Ability to quote small works
- Have a diverse range of skills on a variety of refrigeration equipment
- The right applicant will have a focus on sustainability
- Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
- Demonstrate fault finding abilities and present solutions
- Reliable, self-motivated and well presented
- Clear verbal and written communication skills - word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Ability to liaise with clients on the condition of their plant
- Willing to undergo a police and medical check
- Available to work some overtime
- Strong commitment to safe work practices is essential
- Ability to work on-call
- A flu vaccination and COVID vaccination will also be required
