With the manufacturing business expanding they are looking to add a HVAC Service Technician to the team. The Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Manager you will be required to carry out and be responsible for electrical systems and HVAC assets on site to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. You will actively undertake installations, commissioning, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting breakdowns for electrical systems and HVAC assets onsite. Your main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for carrying out Planned Maintenance activities
- Responsible for carrying out Reactive Works including troubleshooting breakdowns.
- Safely conducting tasks applying risk assessment and SWMS to reduce the likelihood of harm.
- Provide feedback and reporting on works conducted.
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of HVAC systems and with a focus on cold room storage units.
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial HVAC systems and components install, maintain and repair package units, changing out of filters, belts and pulleys as required.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in HVAC systems and recommend solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Provide recommendations on HVAC systems
- Trade qualified and licenced to carry out electrical works and refrigeration and air conditioning.
- Refrigerant handling license
- Superior fault-finding competencies
- Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment ideal
- Great rapport building, and communication skills
