Hydraulic Technician - Open To Visa Sponsorship

Seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter, for local and international applicants (we are open to VISA sponsorship)

With a national network across Australia, Torque Industries, part of Cooper Fluid Systems provides hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication and fluid transfer solutions to customers throughout Australia. If it involves moving oil, grease, water, air, or fuel, we take pride in being able to design a system for it. We are recognised as an industry leader across the mining, construction, manufacturing, agriculture and defence industries.
Our Regency Park facility featuring modern offices consists of two clean and functional workshops, hydraulic test benches, clean room, cylinder reman benches & honing machine, machine shop, fabrication area and drive-on wash down facility. With a local team of 60 staff comprised of Engineering, Sales, Electrical, Automation, Stores, Purchasing and Trades you will be well supported locally.
About the Role
Due to our continual growth, we are seeking experienced Hydraulic Service Technicians to join our Adelaide branch. There is a mixture of Field Service and Workshop work where your main responsibilities will consist of:

1. Perform work in the workshop and on-site including pump, motor and valve repairs and testing;
2. Building / assembly of hydraulic power units;
3. Onsite servicing of hydraulic systems;
4. Installation and commissioning of systems incorporating high-end proportional and servo-controlled pumps and valves;
5. Troubleshooting, fault-finding and diagnosis on a wide variety of hydraulic systems; and
6. Provide guidance and training to apprentices and other trades staff as required.

About you

1. A relevant trade qualification (Fitter and Turner, Diesel Fitter or Hydraulics Fitter);
2. Significant experience in Hydraulics;
3. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics together with sound report writing capabilities;
4. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
