Hydraulic/Mechanical Technician (Cylinder) - Fitter and Turner

A dynamic family business of more than 49 years,  dealing mostly with Tier One customers, Flotek has grown to become one of Australia's most innovative players in the industrial hydraulics industry.  Due to ongoing expansion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical/Hydraulic Technician to join our amazing Team, at the group’s headquarters in Williamstown.

Your new role:

As an integral member of the Team, the successful applicant will enjoy flexible hours, an industry leading payrate, a fully maintained company vehicle. and a great working environment within Flotek’s culture of Teamwork and Respect.   And if you prefer to be doing cylinder work in the factory, Flotek has that work also.  Everyone works a 9 day fortnight,  which means you will have either every second Monday or Friday off - and still be paid for it!

To be successful you will need:

• Previous hydraulic experience or formal training
• A great attitude, proactive nature and natural problem-solving skills
• Be self-motivated and willing to learn and gain even more experience and knowledge on hydraulic equipment
• Ability to fault find, including reading hydraulic circuit diagrams
• The ability to flow test pumps
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Available to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.
