Hydraulics Sales Engineer

• Searching for new Customers who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions;
• Developing long-term relationships with Customers through managing and interpreting their requirements;
• Persuading Customers that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both Customer and company needs;
• Calculating Customer quotations and administering Customer accounts;
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services;
• Preparing reports for State Manager
• Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects
• Ensure all HSE procedures are followed and all incidents are reported accordingly
• Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team
• Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets Customer needs;
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
• Helping in the design of custom-made products
• Visiting Customer sites on a regular basis. Such sites, while generally providing safe working environments, provide the potential of exposure to hazardous materials and other industrial safety exposures.

• Experience in Hydraulic sales & design
• Certificate/Diploma/Degree level qualifications or industry experience of equal level
• Proficient PC Skills / Microsoft Applications
• Proven sales experience
