About Us:
Special Care Dental has proudly served our community for over 20 years, prioritizing personalized dental care and emphasizing preventative measures for lifelong dental health. Our practice boasts a large and diverse patient base, offering a wide range of treatments from routine general dentistry to advanced procedures like implants, oral surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. Our team of three dentists and one hygienist is dedicated to providing exceptional care in a friendly, caring environment, with strict adherence to the latest infection control protocols.
About the Role:
We're excited to welcome an experienced Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis or full- time basis. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality dental care while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive oral care, periodontal treatment, fluoride treatments, and applying dental sealants.
Additionally, you will be involved in direct restorations, such as fillings, within your scope of practice (for OHT applicants).
You will develop clinical skills to deliver top-tier treatment and offer compassionate support to anxious patients. Excellent time management and attention to detail are essential.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist (experience is advantageous, but new graduates are welcome to apply)
- Full vaccination status
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Current AHPRA license
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
