The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, focused Health and Wellbeing professional to join our team. Located at Port of Esperance, Albany or Bunbury and reporting to the Group Human Resources Strategy and Employee Relations Manager, the Wellbeing and Employee Experience Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of Southern Ports’ Employee Wellbeing and Benefits programs and focus on initiatives that improve overall employee satisfaction and well-being.
The Wellbeing and Employee Experience Coordinator will be responsible for organising health checks, guest speakers, supporting and showcasing Southern Ports benefits program (salary sacrificing options, organisation perks etc), improving our induction program, and generally support the ongoing improvement of our people experience.
This position will appeal to a suitably qualified communications specialist with a benefits / HR background.
Skills and Experience
- Completion of Year 10
- Experience in a similar role would be desirable (benefits coordinator, wellbeing coordinator)
- Familiarity with MS Office package
- Knowledge of coordinating wellbeing initiatives and employee benefit programs
- Ability to research new health and wellbeing and employee benefit initiatives
- Ability to present organisational benefit programs to a wide variety of audiences
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good time management skills

Requirements
To be eligible for this permanent full-time role, applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to Esperance, Perth or Bunbury and provide proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency. The successful applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing.
