We have an opportunity for an experience National Account Manager to join the Carlton United Breweries – LMG team you will be looking after our Beer portfolio, brands include: Great Northern, Carlton Dry, Victoria Bitter, Balter and Pirate Life.
Reporting to the National Business Manager – LMG you will be working closely with your customer to deliver profit, revenue & other performance targets from the banner or National Account by understanding the customer’s value chain, priorities and how to jointly create more value. Other key responsibilities include:
- Manage the relationship with the customer and their key internal stakeholders to drive collaboration & alignment between our businesses.
- Promotional program development, execution and optimisation.
- Supporting in-store excellence and execution via the LMG B.E.E.R program.
- Engage with primary customer contact to conduct joint business planning.
- Understand key drivers of customers business (the economics) and the banner strategy.
- Support creation of annual plans with Sales Operations and Customer Marketing & Category to ensure plan drives value to the customer and CUB.
- Partner with internal stakeholders such as category and innovation to identify new opportunities, drive category growth.
- Achieve agreed brand and commercial targets in line with the National Account strategy and individual goals and objectives.
- Monitor business performance and return on investment including shared post-evaluation of investment activities as a platform for continuous learning and improvement.
- Build effective long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers & requirements.
- Maximise time spent with customers in up sell, cross sell and brand building by effectively leveraging CUB & customer game plan.
About You
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as a National Account Manager or Key Account Manager from within the FMCG industry. You will have exceptional financial / commercial acumen which will be demonstrated through your customer management success. You bring:
- Strong business acumen.
- Tertiary qualification preferred
- Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management dealing with major accounts.
- Experience in negotiating and closing commercial contracts.
- Ability to exceed sales targets using a structured data-driven, planned approach.
- Strategic account planning: able to apply market/ industry knowledge and insights to evaluate and develop CUB and customer opportunities.
