Human Resources Administrator 

  • 12 months Fixed Term Contract
  • 60.8 hrs per fortnight (Tuesday to Friday)
  • Not -for- profit salary packaging to increase your take home

About the role:

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing efficient and effective administration support to the wider Human Resources department. Working closely with the Human Resources Partner, Payroll Officer and Recruitment Officer, this role is also responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders in the organisation including management and front-line staff to ensure that proper communication is conducted to ensure that compliance with certificates, licensing and other legal requirements are being met by the organisation.

  • Maintain the relevant Learning and Development system to ensure that training and development courses are being assigned to and completed by the wider organisation. 
  • Liaising with the relevant stakeholders when deadlines are incoming for training and development requirements.
  • Assist with the maintenance of HR personnel record keeping system to ensure accurate records are kept and available for review and audit purposes.
  • Maintain data integrity across the HR systems and processes to ensure compliance with all relevant Human Resources and statutory regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the greater HR team and management to ensure the on-boarding of new employees is processed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure all appointed candidates have appropriate registrations, credentials and qualifications to perform role requirements.
  • Assist with HR compliance audits, in line with audit schedule, providing administrative support the greater HR team.

  • Industry competitive salary range that includes base salary + 11% superannuation (increasing to 11.5% as of 1 July 2024) + salary packaging up to $15,899 of living expenses and up to $2,650 on entertainment benefits per year + 17.5% annual leave loading (valued at $875 - $1279)

What you will bring to the role: 

  • Demonstrated high level administration skills including attention to detail, planning, organising and scheduling.
  • Highly developed time management and organisational skills.
  • A strong customer focus with the ability to adapt easily to changing priorities and form strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as being able to contribute positively within a collaborative team.
  • Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Preferably, Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or other relevant discipline, or working towards.
  • Previous HRIS experience is desirable.
  • Previous experience with one or more recruitment platforms.
  • Knowledge of industrial relations laws and relevant issues.
