Ict Change And Release Manager

Ignite are looking to hear from experienced ICT Change and Release Manager for one of our federal government clients.

The ICT Change and Release Manager oversees and facilitates technical changes across systems and processes within the department, playing a pivotal role in successful adoption and integration of new technologies. This position requires expertise in both technical systems and change management principles to ensure effective implementation.

Location: ACT
Duration: 12 months with 2x 12 months extension
Working Arrangement: Flexible working arrangements

Responsibilities: 

• Assess technical change impacts and implementation.
• Monitor and evaluate change management effectiveness.
• Liaison between technical teams and end-users.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate to align changes with organizational goals and prepare progress reports
• Technical change management, preferably in government or public sector contexts.
• Strong understanding and certification in ITIL framework and Release management best practices.
• Proficiency in assessing technical requirements and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Familiarity with relevant enterprise technologies and systems like Azure, ServiceNow, and Aurion, with analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills/Experience: 

• Experience in technical change management, preferably in government or public sector contexts.
• Strong understanding and certification in ITIL framework and Release management best practices.
