Our Client Our client is highly respected organisation, who provides services and supports to thousands of individuals around Australia. With multiple locations around Canberra, this vital Government organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies, and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for Australia’s most vulnerable.
The Role Our client is seeking a Release Manager to be responsible for the establishment and execution of Release Management processes to support the Business System release schedule.
Key responsibilities will include:
Establish and maintain the Release Management processes in consultation with relevant OCIO and Business stakeholders including third party suppliers.
Execute the Release Management processes inclusive of scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases
Coordinate recurring review and refinement of release content
Develop and maintain the Release schedule, balancing technical dependencies and business requirements, compliance and other priorities.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in establishing and managing Release Management processes in an enterprise business system context.
Enterprise-level experience in managing Releases and delivering systems based on contemporary platforms and architectures (e.g. MuleSoft and Salesforce) including high level of integration to internal and external systems.
Proven experience in, and strong knowledge of, contemporary project management, software development/configuration, testing, system delivery, governance frameworks and methodologies.
Relevant tertiary qualifications; and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management; or SAFe Agile.
