Role: ICT Contract Manager
Contract: 6 Months (Possibility of Extensions)
Pay: $81.24-89.16 per hour plus super
Hours: 7hr/day, 35hr/week
Location: Parramatta, NSW (Hybrid)
Key accountabilities:
- Manage contract stakeholder expectations by understanding their needs and setting ICT contract stakeholder expectations with respect to contract performance objectives.
- Ensure ICT contract solutions comply with the EPA technology policies, procedures, standards and security practices by maintaining awareness of and applying requirements and architecture standards and taking corrective action where necessary.
- Execute ICT contract management plans to realise ICT contract performance objectives and proactively manage to overcome variances to ICT contracts.
- Plan, direct, monitor and report the ICT contract management activities from initiation to final stage to ensure successful ICT contract delivery.
- Manage risk and uncertainty that threaten or create opportunities for realising optimum ICT contract objectives.
- Proactively and regularly communicate attainment and variances of ICT contract objectives to stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder and strategic supplier relationships to identify and minimise risk, resolve issues as they arise and maximise value from the contracts under management of the Digital Delivery and Data teams.
- Prepare and lead complex and sensitive negotiations for contract variations, contract renewals and claims/disputes to deliver better procurement outcomes and mitigate commercial risks
- Deliver high quality contract management services to the branch and to build the overall effectiveness of the function.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience in contract management.
- Experience in commercial contracts, with particular skills around ICT contract management ideally in a wide geographic area.
- Experience in managing and negotiating with commercial vendors.
- Proven experience in the successful management of multiple ICT contracts and suppliers delivering positive contractual outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities with demonstrated experience and ability to coach, influence, and work with stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Proven engagement, collaboration, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the NSW Procurement Policy and NSW Government Financial Delegations.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
