Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. Working at our sites in Benalla and Mulwala - Pangerang and Yorta Yorta land, your role purpose is to –
Contribute to the management of the SDMM (Strategic Domestic Munitions Manufacturing) Contract, being a key member of the Contract Management team
Manage the Australian Industry Content (AIC) on a program level
Take the lead in developing, implementing, and successfully executing the AIC Plan, with the primary objective of increasing AIC capability and ensuring a reliable supply
Manage and provide assistance in various contract management activities and offer support to the PMO team in relation to contract-related matters
Simplify complex and challenging contract concepts and break them down into manageable work packages, action items and communications
Consolidate and analyse program data, compile reports and other pieces of communication for the Commonwealth as required
Ensure compliance with Commonwealth frameworks
Manage contract change proposals and manage document control systems
On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours -
Experience working in contract management or contract deliverables in a manufacturing environment
Experience with drafting contract reports, formal letters and Contract Change Proposals
Ideally knowledge of Explosive Ordnance within the Australian Department of Defence
Knowledge of Defence Services, Logistics and Engineering system
Experience of having worked collaboratively in a team environment to develop and manage complex contractual, financial and / or technical documents
Proven ability to deliver solutions that align with high level business strategy.
Excellent communication skills, with proven experience in effectively managing and engaging executive and senior stakeholder
Tertiary qualified
Hold a valid Driver’s licence
Must be eligible for obtaining an Australian Defence Clearance
Flexibility for travel when required
