About the role

This is currently a fixed term opportunity to 30 June 2025 with the possibility of the role being made permanent. The primary responsibility for the ICT Coordinator is to drive and deliver various IT projects, maximise system efficiencies, and resolve issues across a range of systems. The position will work closely with the Project Coordinator on operational components of Advocare’s systems to ensure continued integration, management and functionality and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to further Advocare’s objectives.

About the right candidate
The ability to manage multiple systems projects is important, plus we need someone who can balance priorities to ensure the team is supported.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive and support the implementation of various IT projects such as SharePoint roll-out, including change management, liaising and coordinating with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Provide support to the business in identifying organisational IT requirements, and resolving system issues, across a range of systems (e.g. VOIP, WebEx) 
  • Ensure that the functionality of existing programs and software is maximised. 
  • Perform feasibility studies, assess risks and formulate solutions, analysing findings and creating strategic and operational improvements. 
  • Document business requirements (through process mapping and gap analyses, developing business cases, project briefs & scopes)
  • Prepare project proposals including cost estimates and resource management to improve the efficiency and accuracy in the delivery of corresponding solutions
  • Detect flaws or defects in business/system techniques on an on-going basis, and suggest appropriate action plans for improvement
  • Lead system implementations
  • Work with system providers to maximise system efficiencies and use
  • Act as a conduit to external IT support and system/service providers
  • Support internal users with general queries, troubleshooting, and training in use of systems as they are implemented, that are outside of general IT support queries

Work Related Requirements 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an equivalent role.
  • Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline or similar
  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of systems such as, VOIP/Webex, SharePoint, Microsoft Suite, Office 365 and Our Cat Herder.
  • Experience overseeing projects and analysing business problems, complimented by strong communication skills required to gather, document and develop solutions. 
  • Ability to act as a partner to the business, interpreting high level requirements and capturing business needs, as well as documenting current processes.
  • Strong elicitation and facilitation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of systems and software development life cycles
  • Ability to redesign and streamline processes to improve efficiency
  • Ability to work autonomously in a standalone role
  • Demonstrated alignment to Advocare’s values

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Salesforce and other CRM systems.
  • Experience working for a not-for-profit organisation
