We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Materials & Logistics Coordinator to manage the facility stores safely and efficiently. This role involves overseeing the ordering, receipt, and maintenance of all stores, spares, and consumables onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Receive and acknowledge all spares and materials, including dangerous goods declarations and customs documentation.
- Tracking & Reporting: Track and expedite all requisitions and repair items, providing regular status reports.
- Stock Control: Perform cyclical stock takes on inventory and consumables, and prepare and issue monthly stock reports.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and track all rental equipment, expediting returns to suppliers.
- Requisition Handling: Raise material stock requisitions, set, and adjust stock holding and re-order levels.
- Storage Maintenance: Keep all storage areas clean, safe, and efficient to optimise access, location, and condition of the inventory.
- Work Pack Staging: Complete staging of work packs for work orders in a timely manner to ensure all planned work is completed.
- Waste Management: Ensure Waste Management Reports are completed for waste leaving the facility via OSV.
- Emergency Response: Participate in the Emergency Response Team and coordinate musters and training exercises as directed by the Emergency Commander.
Key Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience in purchasing, materials control, and logistics within the hydrocarbons, marine, offshore, or similar industry.
- Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of hydrocarbon processing, marine, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
- Proficiency in computerised purchasing, inventory, and planned maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems related to work order execution.
- Experience using SAP, preferably SAP4HANA.
- Relevant qualifications in Purchasing/Logistics Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in Dangerous Goods Handling for sea and air transport.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
Desirable:
- Diploma in marine purchasing and supply management.
