ICT Network & Systems Engineer

Established in 1993, PYBAR has grown to become one of Australia's largest underground hard rock mining contractors operating in multiple states of Australia with a track record in securing repeat business.An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced IT Support Engineer to join our corporate team in Brisbane, Sydney or Orange. Being a full-time position, this opportunity is ready for an immediate start.THE OPPORTUNITY:We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT support engineer to join our team. You will have a strong background in networking, switching, wireless networking, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. A good understanding of ITIL principles and being able to apply them will be highly desirable.REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge and experience in networking, including DNS, DHCP, switching & VLANs, and network firewalls.
• Experience in wireless networking, including Point-to-Points, Access Points, and 802.11 Security
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams
• Understanding of ITIL principles

DESIRABLE:

• Experience with: Fortinet product stack, Microsoft Azure, and PowerShell

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• This position will require infrequent travel to our projects across Australia
• Relevant IT certifications (highly desirable)
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
