Seeking an experienced ICT Procurement and Contracts Officer to join a Government department, starting ASAP Your new company Based in Perth CBD, this government department are seeking an experienced Procurement and contract management specialist to support a number of upcoming IT projects. In this role you will be required to work full-time hours, with flexible work arrangements on offer. You will be engaged on an initial temporary contract for 6-months, and will be paid at a competitive hourly rate. Your new role As the ICT Procurement and Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for:
Processing purchase orders
Assisting in the planning and formation of low to medium risk contracts, ensuring compliant with state government standards
Consulting with internal and external stakeholders around Procurement and contract management matters
Preparing and collating information for procurement reports
What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience in Procurement and contract management positions
Knowledge and understanding of government procurement policies and IT concepts (advantageous)
Strong written communication skills with confidence in preparing procurement documentation
The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
