Randstad is partnering with a government agency for the role of ICT Sourcing Specialist within Melbourne CBD. This role is an initial 6 month contract with a flexible hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities of ICT Sourcing Specialist:
The ICT Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement process for technology-related goods and services. The ICT Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that the organisation's technology needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with ICT suppliers.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for ICT goods and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
- Monitor ICT spending, identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assess and mitigate risks
- Track vendor performance against agreed-upon metrics.
- Work with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with organisational goals.
- Evaluate and enhance sourcing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prior experience in ICT procurement, ideally in government
- Demonstrated experience in end to end sourcing activities
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Adaptable to change, responds and acts with urgency
