ICT Support Engineer Position Description:
The experienced ICT Support Engineer will join our technology team to support the build out of our existing infrastructure, hardware, software, and security, troubleshooting any issues as they arise. The ideal candidate for this position can prioritise mission-critical tasks and coordinate the construction and expansion of our systems, applications, and security so that updates and other maintenance tasks do not hinder daily operations.
Excellent communication skills to work on releases and change requests is key for this position, in addition to the exciting opportunity of automating and streamlining processes to reduce the potential for human error and improve efficiency within the business.
To be successful for this role applicants are to have solid understanding of:

· Responding to IT requests via a ticketing system
· Providing technological support for multiple platforms
· Configuration
· Monitoring
· Developing
· Patching
· Data migration
· Installation of software & liaison with suppliers
· Ensuring security and integrity of platforms
· Creating & maintaining technical documentation
· Solid time management Skills
· Excellent trouble shooting skills
· Salesforce experience & expertise (desirable)
Experience required for this position:
- 5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering and 2nd /3rd Level Support required.
- Extensive experience working in multi-site environments.
- Proven track record with systems support & detailed knowledge of the Microsoft family of applications (Active Directory, Intune, Group Policy, IIS, Terminal Server, SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.).
- Experience creating automated scripts and software preferred.
- Relevant operational ICT security knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of ICT Security Risk Management and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud services such as Azure & AWS.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining TCP\IP based networking devices and appliances.
- Exposure to working within ITIL best practice environments.
Qualifications required for this position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field required (master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
- MCSA certification.
- MCSE certification is an advantage.
- A University Degree in ICT Security Engineering or similar is an advantage.
- DevOps/Automation experience is an advantage.
