About the role
As the ICT Support Officer / Systems Engineer you will provided technical support on a variety of services to stakeholders within the organisation and across the globe! You will provide level 1 and 2 support across various technologies Microsoft suite, applications, desktops, mobile devices and PCs.
The preferred ICT Support Officer / Systems Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Being the first point of contact department workers regarding any IT incidents, requests and enquiries by providing assistance and support as needed via phone, email and in person.
- Monitor the service request and Incident queues via the departments service management tools.
- Marinating ICT assets and associated records for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other peripheral equipment.
- Developing documentation for the knowledge base covering problem resolution, system support and client education.
The successful ICT Support Officer / Systems Engineer will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience as an ICT Support or Service Desk Team environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot various technologies, such as Microsoft suite, Intune, Citrix
- Working knowledge with Jira is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service, relationship, and people management skills.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to convey information clearly and to listen and respond to others appropriately.
