About the Role
Join the dynamic ICU team at Dandenong Hospital as an Associate Nurse Manager in either a Part-Time or Full-Time Fixed Term capacity, working on a rotating roster until May 2025.
As an experienced Associate Nurse Manager, you'll showcase your expertise in management, leadership, and Critical Care Nursing.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day operations, staffing, and patient care within a hospital ward or similar setting.As part of your responsibilities, you will support quality improvement initiatives within the unit, while also supporting the Nurse Manager in matters concerning governance, incident investigation, and ensuring quality and safety standards.
With your compassionate and engaging approach, you'll lead by example to ensure our ICU operates efficiently in a patient-centred and family-friendly environment. Your exceptional communication skills will be pivotal as you collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals across Monash Health, all united in delivering exceptional critical care at all times.

In support of the growing needs of the community, our three Intensive Care Units at Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital provide Victorians across the South East, with faster access to critical care and highly skilled staff when they need it most.
Dandenong Hospital ICU is a 14-bed unit specializing in Colorectal, General Surgery, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Vascular, and General Medicine patients
No two days will be the same, and our Adult Intensive Care Units work uniquely while collaborating with stakeholders and teams across all sites as one Program.
About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
- Critical Care Post Graduate certification or similar such as ED is essential
- Recent experience in Intensive Care
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capability
