Our campuses offer services to a diverse community across acute, subacute, ambulatory and community programs.This is an exciting role, available in Northern Health's burgeoning Northern Fertility Service. The service challenges the inequity of system access to those who experience social and/or financial disadvantage when accessing fertility care.The Associate Nurse/Midwifery Unit Manager will be in charge of all aspects of the outpatient fertility procedure environment, and will take overall responsibility for the quality of patient care within the unit. This role requires a nursing leader experienced in the Women's Health environment (ideally within the fertility space), with well-developed leadership skills and the ability to engage and support this innovative service.To be Successful in the role you will have :To succeed in this role, you will need to be a highly dynamic, enthusiastic and confident people leader with excellent communication skills. You will support the team by training, supervising, developing and inspiring the nursing team and will provide a physically and psychologically safe workplace, and

  • Minimum 4 years clinical experience, preferably in women's health services and preferably with experience of working as an Associate Nurse/Midwifery Unit Manager
  • Commitment to providing patient centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and triage skills
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment
  • Understanding of Nursing/Midwifery Professional and Ethical Standards & Guidelines
  • Current National Police and Working with Children History Check
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Excellent computer literacy in Healthcare IT platforms
  • Commitment to personal and professional development and required PD points for registration
