Council’s Community Care Branch is seeking enthusiastic people to fill multiple positions of Immunisation Nurse.
The Part Time position will require the successful applicant to work 40 hours within a four-week work cycle.
Position Objectives The officer will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Immunisation Team Leader in the implementation of Council’s immunisation service programs to the community.
- Performing other duties as required and within scope of practice.
Qualifications and ExperienceThe successful applicant will have the following:
- Registered as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA
- Provide evidence of Current accreditation as a Nurse Immuniser or be prepared to undertake a Nurse Immuniser Course (for practice within Victoria) within 2 months of commencing the position.
- Have a current Immunisation Emergency Management and Resuscitation Certificate (CPR and anaphylaxis) or to obtain one prior to commencing the position.
- Have a current Working with Children Check and Police check or ability to obtain one prior to commencing the role.
Salary and ConditionsThis position is classified as an Immunisation Nurse as per Part A, Section 31.3.2 of Council’s Enterprise Agreement commencing at $45.99 per hour for Part Time and $57.49 for casual (inclusive of causal loading) plus qualification allowance and statutory superannuation.
