Kernow has been at the forefront of the Immunisation and Environmental Health industries in Victoria for 28 years. With more than 100 staff across metro and rural Councils, we have a large Immunisation nurse and administration team. Our team has significant expertise and are respected leaders in the field. We have long standing relationships with a number of large and small councils in metro and rural Victoria.
The Roles
Part of a team of professional and experienced part time and casual Immunisation Nurses, you will be reporting to the Immunisation Nurse Co-ordinator and work out of our Brimbank location.
You will be assisting in the implementation of professional immunisation services at infant and school immunisation sessions across Brimbank. You will be available to work a combination of day and evening sessions however it is a mandatory requirement that you are available for at least 5 sessions per month including 2 evening sessions. There is flexibility regarding number of hours, times and days of the week.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have had experience as a qualified Immunisation Nurse and will have excellent technical nursing skills. Ideally, you will have had experience administering all vaccines on the National Immunisation Program Schedule.
You will also be highly collaborative with proven experience working successfully as part of a team. In addition, you will possess excellent verbal communication and decision-making skills.
