At NSW Health Pathology, we are creating better health and justice systems. We are currently undertaking our largest digital health transformation initiative to date, which will improve the way we provide patient care, as well as how we provide forensic and analytical science services to help solve crimes.
We are looking for an Implementation Lead to facilitate the implementation of a state-wide Quality Management Information System (QMIS) in a temporary full time capacity, located in Sydney or Newcastle.

The QMIS Implementation Lead, will coordinate the implementation of the State-wide Quality Management Information System (QMIS) across NSW Health Pathology. This will include participating in planning, change management, design, implementation, training and adoption of the State-wide QMIS in line with direction from the Fusion Program Team.
Fusion is a comprehensive program of work that aims to standardise, streamline and integrate pathology services over five years.

- Collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders; being able to influence stakeholders to promote, communicate and implement change and improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience facilitating workshops or sessions with diverse audiences and stakeholders. Confidence conducting engagement sessions to large audiences.
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, prepare written strategies, plans and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Advanced skills in communicating qualitative and quantitative information to varying audiences using Microsoft Office products in a creative and innovative format.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a proven capacity to prioritise competing demands, multi-task and achieve results within tight timeframes always within a customer focused approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as individually.
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills with previous experience engaging, collaborating and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
