The OpportunityWe are in an exciting opportunity to be part of the development, implementation, assessment and application of a comprehensive environmental, health and safety (EHS) management plan, and the delivery of initiatives to improve safety outcomes in the workplace.Your experience and passion for all things EHS will be key to successfully implementing training programs for site operations employees as well as managing the Emergency Response, Environmental
and Quality Assurance compliance across the business. \n
What You will do- Develop, implement and improve QHSE management systems, processes and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 140001 & ISO 45001.
- Undertake annual safety audits and coordinate annual third-party audits to ensure compliance with the WHS Safety Management System and relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement OH&S improvement projects that align with corporate safety strategy.
- Assess and evaluate EHS related processes and day-to-day activities across all sites to ensure promotion and adoption of best practices and compliance with protocols and standards.
- Review, participate and coach teams in effective incident reporting and investigation to ensure appropriate root-cause analysis has been conducted and corrective actions have been implemented.
- Implement effective WH&S training programs for managers, supervisors, new employees.
- Assist with regular auditing of Data Centre Operational practices in alignment with certifications and customer SLA's.
- Assist third party design engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, Fire, Security, EMS. BMS, etc.) through EHS feedback to be incorporated into new designs
Your ideal skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in implementing health and safety management systems, and providing advice to managers and staff, with regards to best practice EHS and Quality matters
- Experienced in policy and standards development, writing and application
- Demonstrated project management and investigation skills
- Experience in the development and application of safety training plans
- Audit qualifications (RABQSA) in EHS and QA an advantage.
- Dealing with government regulatory bodies
- Ability to travel within Australia to other Intellicentre locations
- Able to obtain Australian Government security clearances to the NV1 level. (Must be an Australian Citizen)
