The role:

As the Brisbane-based team leader for Zudello’s Business Solutions team, you will lead by example and take responsibility for your own projects as well as managing the current team of four professionals. It is expected this will be an approximate split of 70/30 between managing (70%) and your own projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are implemented within agreed timeframes and deliver excellent client satisfaction through professional processes and communication.

  • Team leadership: lead the end-to-end implementation of Zudello for clients, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.
  • Assist Sales: assist the sales team in more complex sales opportunities.
  • Oversee Project Activities and Deliverables: Work with customers, team members, and partners to ensure successful project completion, including:
    •  Supporting and guiding consultants in translating customers’ business requirements into solutions by supporting the analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation of projects; 
    • Supervising the project team to help guide them to meet all proposed project performance expectations; 
    • Ensuring that project management principles and implementation templates are consistently used by team while continuing to contribute to the continuous improvement of the tools and framework; 
    • Gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Zudello modules; 
    • Weekly status reports for all active projects; 
    • Supervise the creation of professional templates and project documentation; 
    • Project closure and transition of customers from implementation to support team; 
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Solution Design: Translate client requirements into a comprehensive solution design, including configuration, customisations, and integrations with other systems.
  • Configuration and Customisation: Configure the Zudello platform to meet the specific needs of each client, including integrations with ERP systems. Implement customisations using the platform’s Natural Language Engine.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute processes for comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality and accuracy of the implemented system. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies. 
  • Training and User Adoption: Develop training sessions for client end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the Zudello platform.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and management, to resolve complex technical issues and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest advances in the industry. Identify opportunities to optimise and improve existing implementations, processes, and methodologies.

Key skills:

  • Experience supervising, mentoring and training team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, procurement or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, EA or ERP certifications) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an implementation manager or consultant for ERP, procurement or other similar cloud-based accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management processes.
  • Proficient in configuring and customising accounting systems.
  • The ability to: Work quickly and accurately with significant attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to take full ownership of implementation deadlines and needs
