The Opportunity:
NewCold, a disruptor in automated cold storage and logistics solutions, is seeking an Implementation Manager for its operations in the ANZ region. The Business Implementation Manager will be responsible for correctly and efficiently executing the implementation of new and existing customers into a complex and highly automated operation. They will ensure project milestones and activities are completed on time, on budget, to quality standards, and within agreed scope aligned with the delivery plan, operational processes and policies and procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement operational aspects of onboarding of new customers into an existing or new automated warehouse environment.
• Plan and Manage all operational implementation processes and provide operational support to key stakeholders, including Projects Commissioning team and Business Development.
• Manage the operations implementation team on site during the startup of the new site. 
• Ensure all site start up KPI’s are met and in line with the Operational Services Agreement and AOP.
• Co-create and manage, with the Business Development team, Projects Construction Team, and the Site Operations team, the transition plan of the new customer SKUs and volumes into the warehouse, based on commissioning plans
• Work activity with the project and commissioning team to identify and close snag items and action lists with all contractors
• Ensure all equipment required for Operations is ordered on time and setup for operations – includes forklift MHE, clothing, maintenance tools, safety equipment, office equipment and consumables.
• Create the resource planning for the operational implementation teams and support the resource planning of the site operational team during a project.
• Manage the delivery of training to the operational team together with the Key-Suppliers, WMS Team, Implementation Team, and safety teams, based on the scoped project solutions.
• Identify and coordinate business activities for customer transition to operations.
• Analyse customer data and create insights into business process changes required and process capacity.
• Communicate with customer on process requirements.
• Facilitate customer workshops to identify risks, issues and actions for business transition.
• Report transition status to senior leadership.
• Lead business streams to change systems and processes to enable smooth customer transition.
• Manage issues and risks, in particular communicating high and medium level risks to the transition team.
• Lead testing and business readiness measurement.
• Manage transition timeframes, including and not limited to reporting.
• Identify resource requirements for transition in particular resources required for the transition.
• Provide post implementation reviews and issue management.

Skills and Knowledge:

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce/Supply Chain/Project Management
• 8 years + Logistics and Supply Chain/manufacturing operational management experience.
• Leadership experience and ability to work with executive leadership
• Customer Relationship Management
• Document management
• Data analysis (excel, PowerBI, SQL, Tableau)
• Extracting and translating WMS data
