Fronditha Care is a longstanding independent not-for-profit Aged Care Provider that focuses on providing unique, culturally, and linguistically diverse services to a wide range of elders. Our Community Services team is seeking compassionate individuals dedicated to supporting elders in the comfort of their own homes, empowering them to uphold their independence and dignity.
Applicants must be available for a minimum of three full days from 8am to 5pm and must have their own vehicle for travel.

What you will do
- Provide personalised care to elderly individuals, including assistance with Personal Care, showering, mobility, manual handling, and other activities of daily living, ensuring client comfort and well-being.
- Empower elderly community members to make independent decisions and prioritise their overall well-being.
- Assist with light household duties as needed, including proper use of chemicals according to instructions and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Offer transportation services for medical appointments and essential errands.
- Assist with transfers, toileting, and communication with clients with specific needs.
- Maintain accurate record of care provided and ensure timely report of key client events and any changes to the rostering team.
- Collaborate effectively with the services and administration rostering team to fulfill duties.
- Participate actively in supervision sessions, annual appraisals, staff meetings and ongoing training activities.
- Strictly adhere to occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
- Report any potential hazards or breaches promptly.
- Always uphold Fronditha Care’s code of conduct.
What we look for
- Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum qualification)
- Two doses of COVID-19 vaccination.
- Possess a valid Victorian driver’s licence, access to your own vehicle and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage.
- Commitment to delivering quality care to our elderly community.
- Proficiency in Greek language is desirable.
- Dementia care experienced preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for making a positive impact in the lives of elderly individuals and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care.
