About the role
As the In Room Dining Supervisor, you'll own the delivery of an exceptional dining experience, work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage Operations to lead an incredible team and are accountable for training and up-skilling the wider team around premium products and service. You'll manage the day-to-day operations of IRD with the help of the Director of F& B Operations. and ensure each guest has an exceptional dining experience.
You'll have the chance to work with a world-class team that delivers nothing short of excellence. Additionally, your attention to detail is second to none, you'll show initiative, be focused and always own the result.
The duties of the role would include:
- Creating an exceptional team culture and maintaining guest expectations
- Handling guest complaints and resolving them accordingly.
- Working closely with our restaurants, bars and kitchens
- Ensuring delivery of orders in a timely fashion and on standard
- Supervising and monitoring Minibar
- Liaising with Housekeeping and Front Office to deliver clean and stocked rooms on time.
- Operating the POS system, accurately processing all cash and card transactions, and being held accountable for your till.
- Completing and ensuring floor checks are conducted regularly and ensuring a clear building corridors at conclusion of shift.
- Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace during service.
- Re-setting of the common fast service items, securing stock, removing bins and leaving the place ready for next day's trade.
