The Star Sydney is currently accepting applications for Food and Beverage Supervisor within our In Room Dining Department. This department services The Star Grand and Forbes 5 star Hotel The Darling.
The F&B Supervisor position is hands on, leadership position requiring an applicant with an outgoing personality who loves to empower team members and at the same time, loves to go above and beyond for customers. You will need to be dynamic, well presented, pro-active to the needs of our guests, culturally sensitive and a real people person. In this role you will be responsible for the day–to-day smooth running of the department and effective supervision of the team.
You will also oversee and assist F&B Attendants with customer service, ensures the outlets are prepared and organised to meet all business requirements with particular attention.
What are we looking for?
- Previous Food & Beverage leadership experience, with a sound Food & Beverage knowledge (IRD and/or Hotel experience highly regarded)
- Exceptional, world-class standards in guest service excellence, with a natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
- Polished five-star grooming and personal presentation
- Highly organised and eager, with a high attention to detail
- A current RSA Statement of Attainment
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster (including weekends and overnight shifts)
