Award winning and innovative Aged Care Provider, including recipient of Xref's “Best Workplace Award 2023” and "Engage Change Champion Award 2023" as well as Voice Project’s “Best Workplace Award 2021” Wellbeing initiatives along with Employee Recognition lunches and daily staff meals Inclusive workplace culture that empowers staff and promotes development No weekends No late nights Convenient location close to public transport and free onsite parkingAbout The Role:An opportunity currently exists for an experienced hospitality professional to join our leading organisation in the role of Dining Room Supervisor at our Randwick campus on a full-time basis – Monday to Friday 6:30am-3pm.Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for assisting management in the organisation’s continuing effort to deliver an outstanding service experience for our consumers.In this key leadership role, you will take ownership of a broad range of tasks and responsibilities ranging from daily food and beverage service, maintenance and presentation of our Dining rooms and support and coordination of events. In addition, you will be responsible for: Assist in training and supporting front of house dining personnel in all aspects of Food and Beverage service. Motivation and leadership of your team. Maintaining correct food handling and hygiene work practices including compliance with HACCP food service standards. Qualifications and experience: Previous experience in a similar supervisory role At least 2 years restaurant/banquet experience in Australia Relevant qualifications in hospitality is preferredKey role requirements: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills A true passion for customer service Excellent team supervision ability Immaculate grooming and personal presentationDesirable: Previous experience in an aged care environment including exposure to working with special dietary requirements.About Us: Montefiore is an award-winning, Sydney-based aged care provider, with a proud 130-year history as a non-profit organisation founded on Jewish values.
