• Casual position for an Inclusion Support Educator in our late week Group (alternate Wednesday's, every Thursday and Friday from 8:30am-2:30pm.)
The Role
Mudjimba Community Kindergarten, a C&K Affiliated Centre (and not for profit) is looking for an experienced, qualified and passionate Inclusion Support educator to join our team. As Inclusion Support, you will be joining our existing team of three amazing educators in the late week group, which has 25 children.
You will be responsible for supporting the staff in implementing a quality care and education program for kindergarten aged children. You would have the ability to assist in providing one on one support for children with challenging behaviours and additional needs as required.
The successful applicant must have previous experience in an early childhood education and care setting, have the drive and capability to implement and introduce inclusive strategies into the program.
Ideal Candidates will:
• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood (qualifications must be recognised by ACECQA)
• Hold or willing to obtain a current Blue Card
• Confidence working with challenging behaviours
• Have a patient and positive attitude with high levels of enthusiasm, initiative, motivation and creativity.
Prior experience working in an Inclusion support role will be highly regarded.
