- Program managing the NSW/ACT-based Deadly Store Network, fostering regular engagement with Inclusion Champions and Store Management to drive meaningful outcomes.
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, and job seekers to foster trust and engagement.
- Providing specialized advice and guidance to a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring comprehensive support throughout the employment process.
- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of Indigenous employment initiatives, proactively identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes to enhance effectiveness.
- Delivering Cultural Confidence training and ensuring full completion among relevant stakeholders, fostering an inclusive and culturally aware work environment.
- Working collaboratively with the People & Culture team to seamlessly integrate Indigenous employment objectives into organizational initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader diversity and inclusion goals.
- Proactively identifying and establishing partnerships with new community stakeholders to attract talent and provide ongoing support to current team members.
- A strong understanding of Indigenous culture, values, and employment challenges.
- The ability to engage and support Indigenous team members through mentoring and case management.
- Previous experience in retail, Indigenous employment services, recruitment, or community development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- The capacity to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- The capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a culture of shared success.
