Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Indigenous Engagement Assistant Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We are seeking a passionate leader to join our Indigenous Engagement Team. You will have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing culturally safe engagement programs in Anangu communities. This role will engage your excellent communication and cultural liaison skills to build better futures for Anangu and their communities. Must have a current Working With Children's Check or ability to obtain one.

Key Duties
The Indigenous Engagement Team develops and delivers outcomes through three core programs across the NPY region  which include Real Jobs Program, Employment Pathways and Education Pathways. You will also be apart of the promotion of the Anangu Communities Foundation. 

Key duties of the role include:

• Manage a team of 3.
• Provide operational engagement support to the Indigenous Engagement Team through the provision of cultural liaison activities in Pitjantjatjara and/or Yankunytjatjara across the NPY region.
• Design, develop and implement culturally safe engagement strategies for programs within the Indigenous Engagement portfolio.
• Coordinate engagement strategy elements to drive culturally safe recruitment and retention strategies for Anangu employment.
• Manage and coordinate key events at Ayers Rock Resort relating to significant dates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
