About the organisation

Breast Cancer Care WA (BCCWA) is a WA charity funded entirely through donations and fundraising in the community. We provide personalised services such as specialist breast care nursing, counselling, and practical and financial support to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer in WA, for as long as they need it – free of charge.

About the role

Do you have a passion for data and an eye for detail? Do you enjoy working collaboratively to develop innovative solutions? Would you like to use your skills and experience to make a difference in your community?

This newly created, multi-faceted role offers a unique opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented professional to contribute to the growth and sustainability of our organisation. Working closely with the Regular Giving Program Executive  and Direct Mail Coordinator – alongside the wider fundraising and marketing teams - the Individual Giving Coordinator provides vital support for both of our regular giving and Individual Giving programs.

Regular Giving Program

You will collaborate on targeted campaigns to engage with donors, implementing strategies to retain existing donors and attract new supporters. Using your data smarts, you’ll help to identify trends, track donor behaviour and evaluate the success of various initiatives. You’ll also assist with generating reports to inform future decision making, track expenses and provide insights into areas for improvement.

Individual Giving Program

You’ll provide essential support to the Individual Giving program, assisting to create persuasive and impactful content for BCCWA’s fundraising appeals. Supporting the Direct Mail Coordinator, you’ll tailor appeals to different segments, and enhance donor engagement and connection. Your keen eye for detail will come in handy as you proof all direct mail to ensure both quality and compliance with BCCWA branding.

General

As part of your role, you will develop a thorough understanding of both the Regular Giving Program Executive and Direct Mail Coordinator’s roles, providing meaningful support and occasionally taking on their full responsibilities. You’ll keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in Individual Giving, and contribute your ideas and recommendations for improving and expanding the Individual Giving program.

This is a part-time position based in Cottesloe.
